Closings for A Cause


We believe in supporting our local community and the wonderful contributions local non-profit groups make. We donate a portion of our proceeds from each closing to a specific charitable organization every month.

Our 2019 calendar of organizations appears below.


Caleb’s Dragonfly Dreams
…a non-profit organization that organizes events for abandoned, abused and neglected children in Horry County, South Carolina.


Habitat for Humanity
…builds homes and promotes strength, stability and self-reliance; giving Habitat Families the independence to build a better life for themselves and their children.


Bethesda Home For Single Mothers
…Great Commission Christian Ministries’s lighthouse to counsel and support at-risk young mothers and pregnant women in crisis.


Horry County Literacy Council
… a non-profit organization in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina that strives to improve the literacy rate in Horry County.


Coastline Women’s Center

…a pregnancy medical center located in Conway, South Carolina that offers support, counseling and other pregnancy services.


The Rape Crisis Center
…provides a 24-hour hotline to address the needs of those who have experienced rape and sexual assault. Staff advocates offer crisis intervention, emotional support, and information and referrals to survivors and their loved ones. The Center provides community education programs, short-term counseling, therapist-facilitated support groups, and special events to promote a creative means of healing.


New Directions Shelter
…operates 4 shelters along the Grand Strand to assist men, women, and families with emergency, non-emergency, long term, and transitional housing.


Grand Strand Miracle League
…provides recreational sports leagues for individuals with disabilities and their families to participate together in sporting events and group activities.


Backpack Buddies
…keeping impoverished children from going hungry over the weekend, every Friday at school, teachers discreetly include a food sack in the kids’ backpacks
so they have something to eat over the weekend. These children would otherwise go hungry.


Quilts of Valor
…makes and distributes custom quilts that provide comfort and healing to service members and veterans touched by war.


…provides convenient access to quality healthcare where patients need it regardless of their ability to pay… A leader in healthcare for over 20 years, they specialize in family medicine, chronic illnesses, & testing for the whole family.


Special Operations Wounded Warriors
…provides recognition, support, rehabilitation, and service dogs to wounded veterans who served in Special Operations units of the military.
